KENYON HALL

HOLT

Charity No 259519

The Kenyon Hall was built on land donated by Lord Kenyon to the Villagers of Holt with money raised by the Primrose League, a Conservative Association. This site was adjacent to the original Town Hall which was destroyed by fire.

The Duchess of Westminster officially opened the Hall in 1892 and it was used as a meeting place and reading room. In 1935 the Hall was placed under the control of the Holt Town Trust and on 12th March 1940 it was registered as a charity.

The Hall is situated in the centre of Holt, near the ‘Market Cross’ and is managed by a Committee of Trustee’s drawn from various organisations in Holt.

The unique interior gives an atmosphere suitable for any type of function from children’s parties, seminars, and dances.
